Oluwatito Balewa, also known as TROOTH, is a direct disciple of Guru, Dr. Dana Dennard also known as Baba Khepra Ka Ra Kamau. In 2005 Trooth was led to the Aakhet Center for Human Development, also owned by Baba Kamau. The ancient tradition of yoga was inculcated to Trooth through a combination of methodical practices of geometric progression from various systems of the Kemetic (Egyptian) Yoga lineage, Iyengar Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Mantra Yoga, Shakti Yoga, Kripalu Yoga, Amrit Yoga, and Kriya Yoga.
In the 2005 Trooth also started his journey as an Afrikan Drummer and Professional Oratory Education Teacher (P.O.E.T.) traveling all over the United States performing and teaching different elements of empowerment to countless audiences. With over 8 years of manifesting healing through the arts for mental and physical wellness, Trooth has attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Performance, Performed over 400 stage performances with Back Talk Poetry Troupe and Dromatala Drum Collective, appeared in 2 Independent films entitled “21 Doors of Elegbas Dreams” and “The Voice of Sa Ra”, and currently certified in Kemetic Yoga at Yoga House Houston in Yoga Skills Method as provided by Yirser Ra Hotep. Since January, 2013 upon receiving his Kemetic Yoga Certification Shu RA or Trooth has been the proud founder, owner, and operator of RAism Yoga.
